Management of the staff requirements

The analysis and planning of the requirement of people to be included in the organisation is now part of a global structured authorisation process, which ensures that there are consistency and focus on the priorities of the business. Specifically, through a new policy of global recruiting, we are able to exercise greater control centrally over the positions to be filled in all the major entities of Ansaldo STS, with the consequent possibility of creating - through the job posting tool and by encouraging geographical mobility - internal opportunities before selecting external candidates.
This makes it possible to implement a policy of containment of headcount and above all to create growth opportunities for internal staff internationally.
Using a new global IT tool in use since October 2010 enables us to optimise the selection process, leading to a gradual reduction of the external provider cost by creating a single shared integrated database.
